Bobbi Brooks Wilcox is the Founder of Blended Families United, a published author, registered unlicensed psychotherapist in the state of Colorado, and an ordained minister. She offers Soul-Centered Living coaching to solo moms, bio moms and stepmoms. Bobbi also provides blended family education through her online and virtual courses and classes for couples and individuals preparing for remarriage.
Bobbi's book, RECONCILED, is her personal journey searching for peace after divorce where she was guided to a university that taught Spiritual Psychology and completed a Master Program. Bobbi's spiritual awakening and transformation during her two years at the university taught her spiritual practices, skills, tools, and principles that she continues to apply and teach to others.
Bobbi was inspired to help blended families after the divorce of her daughter. She trained through Ron L. Deal, the author of the The Smart Stepfamily and The Smart Stepfamily Marriage, and The Smart Steps Program by Dr. Francesca Adler-Beeder with the National Stepfamily Resource Center and has studies various other resources on stepfamilies.
The Stepfamily Mastermind, and the Stepfamily Summit, owned by Claudette Chenevert, have been instrumental in Bobbi's learning experience for leadership and stepfamily work. Bobbi has spoken on various blended family and stepmom podcasts and in FaceBook groups, and on the Stepfamily Summit for two years. She is also a co-founders of
The Wholeistic Stepfamily
community group.
Bobbi and her husband, Geoff, celebrated their 17th year anniversary in September, have a teenage son (an "ours" child), and live in the beautiful mountains of Woodland Park in Colorado. Bobbi is also the mother of two adult children from her first marriage and a grandmother to four (the 5th one is on the way) wonderful grandchildren who all live in Las Vegas, Nevada.
